A succesful donation of mask

 Today we had a successful activity after we had givwn out free mask to the youth who are the key factors in the community, we earlier (read my post earlier) given out free mask to peasant moms who sell vegetables and have a high contact with their customer when measuring and touching the items.

We are working hard to ensure that our community are free from the enemy covid 19.

We thank all of our friends who contributed and more so Al-khair foundation for their support. May god bless them.

Donate to us to help the poor get mask

Hello,eid mubarak to all our families and friend.

After the government reminder it has become must that everyone should wear mask in public places and gatherings especially in religious gathering.

Thus since most of the mosques cant provide or get mask since most of them survive on less than two dollars a day hence cant afford to buy mask.

We wanted to help by giving out mask to masjids.

We are targeting 500 mask and each mask cost ksh70  ,thus totalling to 35....we are now at 10k alxamdulillah, thanks to some friends.

We are remained with 25k.

A call to help a needy woman

Yesterday it was really disturbing day for me as I go back to mama halima to check on he son's progress. When i entered her home she was lit with eyes full of hope as she say "i vividly remember when you first came here to check on my son who broke his hand in a soccer match, I couldn't follow up and get him treated but when you said your organization will help I was really glad"
I felt proud and I really appreciate the friends who made it possible and after her son was treated I promised her that through my organization I will help her to have a permanent house but it wasn't possible due to the effect of covid 19.
I told her I purposely came to take some of her photos and her house so that I can prepare some evidence to win trust of the people ,she accepted only for the house but for her she said the community will see her as an evil and beggar, which will affect her reputations and later in future he children.
Halima is a 49yrs old mom with 7 children from the time of her birth up to now she has never slept in a stone or a strong house with electricity, her children following her path, her husband become ill with an unknown disease which made him look like a mad person,she is the only one working hard to put food on their table ,her parent died long ago, her sibling were all struggling and her elder brother is fully depending on her like her children.
She need help, thus with the little money my organization had, I manage to buy her a mattress and mosquito net.
I request friends ,well wishers and goood Samaritans to contribute something so that we help mama halima achieve and have a comfortable life.
Contribution can be done via local money transfer mpesa till number Asc brothers and sisters.....our activity for this week is designing a website and working on our launching but unfortunately we couldn't achieve due to some reasons....for website we need some money for quality domain and hosting ....so let's contribute a little that we can to till number 5214791

RAMADAN SADAQA

Wajir global youth members today led an engaging  event where we distributed food to the orphans and needy in Barwaqo village during this Holy Month of Ramadan, this come after chairlady raised the noble idea, and there was a call for a meeting to which the members responded positively toward the idea, since it was our first time to buy and distribute foodstuff, it was a challenging on but we had fought a never losing battle. 

the foodstuff provided include, rice,sugar, flour and oil since these were the most crucial  and staple food in Wajir county. 

these were the words from the chairman

"Alxamdulillah Today we have finally reached our objective , we had distributed the foodstuff we bought to the families. Our target was ten homestead but due to some deficit we hold on to 9 families. We distributed(@family)8kg rice, 8kg sugar, 5kg floour and 3litre of  oil.....

We really appreciate the group members and our friends especially those who receive this noble idea with open hearts and hands....

MENTORSHIP AT SABUNLEY SECONDARY

MENTORSHIP

On 10th march 2019  we had a fruitful drug and substance of abuse mentorship  with this year's SABUNLEY SECONDARY SCHOOL candidates and we manage to share the IEC materials which were provided to us by NACADA.

The event which was organized by our able CEO, Abdihafit, was meant to enlighten youth with the negative effect of drug abuse.

from our organization's recent analysis, we come to realize that our youth are joining bad company especially drug addicts at a higher rate and the most affected youth are the school going youths.

" It was a nice day having a debate with students who in turn have share a lot of information about drugs and how they are losing their friends to drugs" Said Adihafit who just concluded the meeting.

Among the  drug that is mostly and widely spreading through wajir county is Marijuana(bhang) and from our own research we come to find out that its readily available and also in the past few years the were no action taken by they relevant authorities and thus the youth got freedom to do whatever they want.

Wajir global youth has been doing alot of youth empowerment  activities in the past three year which has really helped many youth in wajir. in terms of sports ,we manage to held two leagues which is meant to engage youth since an idle mind is an evil mind.

Stadium premier league update

Hello, welcome back after a little blog -break, stadium premier League is at its third week and the following are the updates from the strict, concerned and transparent officials.
"Asalamu aleykum all coaches as per the officials decision we make the following decision
1. Mohamathey from barcelona ban from tournament
2. Abdisalan from Manchester ban from the tournament
3. Manpower removed from the tournament
4. We add number of substitution from 3 to 4"
The above points are yet to be confirmed.
In the coming post we will share results from different games that happened in the recent games.

Diff vs dadajabula

Hello, welcome to wajir south tournament, a league that was sponsored by WAJIR SOUTH NG CDF with the cheif guest being the MP himself,HON. DR.MOHAMED SHEIKH M. , before the league the sponsors organized friendly match at dadajbula as well as diif ward then final which was at diff where diff ward team won the cup while the best player and best discipline team went to dadajbula and best keeper was from diff. The game ended in a goalless draw in a full time thriller.
